Royal Engineers Museum Gillingham

Gillingham is home to the definitive British engineering history museum - the Royal Engineers Museum & Library. Pretty much everything you might want to know on military engineering is here, with galleries exploring the timeline from 1066 through the French wars, World Wars I & II, into the present and the very different role of military engineers today. A medal room contains over 20 Victoria Crosses, and the extensive archives collection includes photography, paintings, drawings, war diaries, uniforms, books, models, equipment and armoury. This amounts to one of the most impressive military collections in the country!

Open Tuesday to Friday - 9.00am to 5.00pm. Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holiday Mondays - 11.30am to 5.00pm. Closed Monday, Christmas week and New Years Day. Opening times may vary on special event weekends.

Ice Bowl Ice Skating Gillingham

The Ice Bowl Ice Skating Rink in Gillingham is the South East's top ice skating venue. The rink is open 7 days a week for public ice skating and is also a centre for ice hockey.
