The Eurotunnel UK Kent boarding location couldn't be more conveniently located at Folkestone. Easy access is via motorway exit at junction 11A/M20 which takes you straight to Check-In booths. Connecting with the M20 is easy too via the M25 (London Motorway ringroad), with direct access onto the M20. Likewise, in France, Eurotunnel is situated just outside Calais, via junction 42 of the A16 motorway. Follow the slip road which takes you straight to the Eurotunnel Check-In booths.

Boarding locations are easy to find in both the UK and France, with direct access onto motorway systems in both countries. Petrol stations are also conveniently located near both boarding locations. Check-in is at least 30 minutes before departure (no more than 2 hours prior), and a Self Check-in services is available.

Boarding is efficient and easy, with supervised lanes. During the 35 minute journey you stay with your vehicle (the time flies by!). The Eurotunnel UK terminal at the boarding location near Folkestone is superbly equipped for families, with baby chaning facilities and special changing rooms on-site. A baby food station is also at the Welcome Break area. Kids can also let off steam prior to crossing in the outdoor play area. FlexiPlus Fares offer the added extra flexibility where essentially you can turn up at the boarding locations and be booked onto the next shuttle. This option is perfect if you want to take your time and not be pressured by arriving for your journey at a set time. Extras for FlexiPlus also include use of lounge services. You can mix and match too with FlexiPlus one way and Standard on return, or vice versa. Discounts are available for Short Stay (upto 5 days) and group bookings, keeping people together, are well catered for.
