The Granary is a 5 Star graded luxurious self catering holiday cottage sleeping up to four people just outside the village of Waltham, near Canterbury. This seventeenth Century farm lies in a tranquil rural valley below Yockletts Bank Nature Reserve, which in season has wonderful orchids, a variety of wildlife and footpaths waiting to be explored. The surrounding farmland is mainly arable and was once used to grow hops. Evidence of the history of the farm can be seen in the remains of a twin kiln oast which was operational many years ago. The historic cathedral city of Canterbury is five miles away, Ashford is ten miles away and the Channel Tunnel rail link can be reached in fifteen minutes.

The cottage enjoys easy access to the local footpath and bridleway network and cyclists are sure to enjoy exploring the local country lanes and villages. There are two horse riding centres less than a mile away and a shop at Stelling Minnis, less than two miles away. The Granary itself is a newly converted grade II listed barn with period features such as vaulted ceilings, Kent peg tile roof and solid oak flooring. There is one double and one twin bedroom, each with en-suite facilities. The lounge area has two leather sofas, one of which is a sofa bed, and is complete with Freesat TV and a DVD player. There is a solid oak dining table and four chairs. The bespoke kitchen is made from solid oak and features a granite worktop and porcelain sink. It contains a washing machine, dishwasher, ceramic hob and fan oven, microwave and fridge freezer. Outside there is garden furniture and a barbecue, ideal for al fresco meals in the warmer months. WiFi Internet is available throughout.
