Bartley Mill has three elegant and charming self catering cottages for guests to enjoy a relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Choose from the Mill, The Farmhouse and the Little Shoesmiths. The cottages are located in a peaceful rural location. There has been a watermill at Bartley Mill since the 13th century. The watermill was managed by the monks of nearby Bayham Abbey until the time of Henry VIIIs Reformation. The cottages have been lovingly converted to a very high standard with all the comforts of modern living.

There are plenty of places of interest to visit here in this wonderful location of Kent. Visit Bewl Water reservoir, the largest stretch of open water in the south east. Scotney Castle is a 14th century moated castle and has some stunning and romantic gardens. Great Dixter House and Gardens are close by and date back to 1220. Sissinghurst Castle is within easy driving distance and is a must see attraction. Hever Castle is close by and Pashley Manor gardens offer a sumptuous blend of romantic landscaping.
