Our 4 star self-catering cottage is wonderfully situated in the medieval town of Sandwich, Kent. We offer a Victorian cottage that has been recently renovated. In the property you will find two bedrooms, a double room with a large king size bed and beautiful pine bed set, and a comfortable twin room. While the cottage is ideal for 4 guests it can sleep 6 with use of the sofa bed in the lounge. A travel cot is available upon prior arrangement. The cottage boasts a fully equipped kitchen, fitted with wood countertops and a new electric cooker unit and separate hob. There is also a small utility room which includes a fridge/freezer, washing machine and a dryer. The cottage has two reception rooms where you can unwind, and an enclosed garden where you can take advantage of the barbeque. The enclosed garden is also great for those travelling with children or pets as they can let them roam outdoors whilst being contained. We also have space for 2 cars on off road parking.

Ideally located, we are only a short walk from a variety of restaurants, pubs and tea rooms. Sandwich itself is a very historic town having numerous period houses to view. Visit the famous old town wall where at parts it is still surrounded by water moats. The Guildhall is not only a great piece of architecture itself but it also houses a museum that describes the history of Sandwich. For a bit of romance and fun why not try hopping on a river bus from the Old Toll Bridge, an attraction in its own right, and see the sights of Sandwich from a different angle. If sport interests you, the area is great for its golf courses, just a five minute drive from the cottage and you will find yourself at the Royal St. George’s Golf Course.
