The two star Broadacre Hotel lies in a quiet street parallel to the the high street in New Romney, Kent. The property was originally built as a farmhouse, part of which dates back to the 17th Century. Once known as The Gables, the building was used as a country club, before becoming a hotel. There are a great many interesting attractions to be found in the vicinity including Dungeness Lighthouse, Kent and East Sussex Railway, Rye Heritage Centre, Smugglers Adventure and the Eurostar and ferry services departing for the continent.

The Broadacre Restaurant offers a good selection of home cooked dishes and traditional grills. Vegetarian and special dietary meals are available by prior arrangement. Please note that the restaurant is not open on Sunday evenings and bank holiday Mondays. A traditional breakfast is offered each morning though, if you are wishing to depart early, a self selection breakfast of cereal, fruit juice, yoghurt and fruit can be arranged.

Rooms Description

The Broadacre Hotel has six rooms inside the main hotel and a further three cottage rooms in the grounds. The cottage rooms are on the ground floor and may be suitable for guests with mobility difficulties. All guest rooms are centrally heated and complete with remote control TV, radio alarm clocks and hot beverage facilities with bottled water and individually wrapped chocolate biscuit.
