Our delightful, newly refurbished property lies in the village of St Margarets at Cliffe, only four miles from Dover Seafront with its busy cross-channel ferry port. Visitors to the beautiful accommodation of Cliffe House will be greeted with modern furnishings, and spacious rooms. The property boasts excellent self catering facilities and dining space for up to 6 people, two excellent double bedrooms with comfortable beds and plenty of storage. The apartment is ideal for short breaks in Kent or for a stop before taking a day break over to France.
Whether you want to walk the famous White Cliffs of Dover, or fancy visiting some of the many historic sites nearby, or even just relax in our cosy home, Cliffe House is the perfect place to come back to. If you have a keen golfer in tow, you will find many golf courses within easy reach. Why not take a day trip to France, or stay local and spend some time in the excellent pubs and restaurants in St. Margaret or the local villages and towns. Why not visit the ancient Cinque Port towns of Deal and Sandwich which are both nearby? The cathedral city of Canterbury is only eighteen miles away, whilst St. Margarets Bay is very close.
Cliffe House was completed in 2006 after a major refurbishment. Our kitchen/diner has a full sized electric oven and four burner gas hob, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, an abundance of china and glassware, and a six seater dining table. The lounge is comfortable and fitted with two leather sofas, television, VHS video recorder, DVD player, stereo unit and coffee table. It is the ideal place for relaxing after a busy day. The master bedroom has a double bed and large, mirrored wardrobe whilst the second bedroom has a double bed, built in wardrobe and chest of drawers. Both bedrooms over look the walled garden. The modern bathroom has a full sized bath and separate shower cubicle. Bed linen (with duvet and cover), hand/bath and tea towels are supplied. Lighting, heating and hot water is included in the rental charge.
A telephone is provided and we ask guests to pay for any calls they make. Car parking is available nearby (no charge). We can also provide a Graco PETITE travel cot (please bring your own baby linens) and high chair. We operate a no smoking policy and are unable to accept pets.
