This cosy 18th Century, grade II listed former fisherman's cottage lies just 80 metres away from the seafront and has been recently refurbished and decorated to a high standard throughout. Perfect for a self catering family holiday or a romantic break along the Kent coast.
The quietness of the conservation area in which the cottage is located contrasts with the bustle of the high street where there are a mixture of antique and gift shops sitting alongside the ususal high street stores. In addition to this there is a fine array of pubs, cafes and restaurants to be found here and in the outlying villages. Fishing trips can be arranged from one of the many small boats moored on the beach near Walmer and there are plenty of walks along the coast and further inland.There are three golf courses close by, including the championship Royal St. George's, venue of the 2003 Open.
Old Chelsea Cottage sleeps up to four people in one double bedroom and one twin (bunks). Downstairs the slate floored sitting room with its inglenook fireplace and wood burning stove is open to the kitchen, which leads to the bathroom and small rear courtyard.
