Ideal for those wishing to visit South East England and its many attractions, and those traveling with pets or horses (they have stables & paddocks available). The historic cathedral city of Canterbury is within easy driving distance of the accommodation. Visit the Cathedral, the many museums or see the Canterbury Tales. Whitstable is close by and has many traditional charms, strong arts culture and rich maritime history.

Crockshard B&B is farmhouse accommodation in a peaceful, rural location only 10 minutes' drive from Canterbury, 20 minutes from Dover. Centrally located for visiting any part of Kent.London 1.5 hours.

Rooms Description

There is a choice of double, twin, or quad rooms. All rooms have been tastefully decorated and offer warm, comfortable accommodation in the style of a country house and the perfect, quiet place to relax and unwind after a long day exploring the surrounding area.

Specialities

Pets and horses are welcome. We have stables and grazing paddocks. Sitting room with TV and log fire. Fantastic gardens, to relax in with a picnic and a book! Full English breakfast, with homemade bread and jams, in large farm kitchen. Lots of animals to see - Kune-kune pigs, shetlands and other horses, sheep, a goat, cats and a dog! Lots of good walks and superb pub-restaurants locally. Plenty of private parking space (locked, if required, for motorbikes, etc). Free wireless internet connection. Eco-friendly (though no official accreditation!): we ask you to request clean towels if you are staying for a few days, and to co-operate with our in-house recycling system for rubbish. You are welcome descretely to feed picnic tit-bits to our pigs (officially, pigs are not allowed 'kitchen scraps' these days...!).
