Exquisite holiday cottage located in tendered, private grounds. Close to the picturesque village of Smarden. Two bedrooms. Free Wi-Fi and parking. Patio garden with BBQ.
Dering Cottage is nestled in the beautiful, tended grounds of the owner's stunning barn conversion. This rural Kent property was originally an oast house where hops were dried before being brewed for beer. The cottage is only a mile from the picturesque of Smarden, which has a notable church, pubs, and an art gallery. It's also a great base for exploring the wealth of castles, gardens and National Trust properties in the nearby area.
On the ground floor of the cottage is a lounge area with two sofas, a dining table and chairs, a coffee table, and a TV with DVD player. The kitchen comes fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, washer/dryer, and a dishwasher. In the nearby stables is a stand-alone freezer.
Upstairs on the first floor are two bedrooms (one double, one single) and a family bathroom with shower over bath. Both bedrooms include a wardrobe and chest of drawers.
To the rear of the cottage is a private patio area with garden furniture, barbeque and views of the neighbouring fields.
Ample parking is available along the property.
Free Wi-Fi is provided.
